Originally from New York, Edith started practicing yoga consistently in 2006. Yoga has helped Edith feel immediate physical and mental benefits and with an ongoing practice, achieve greater physical, emotional and spiritual understanding of her body. Her teaching method focuses on awareness of the body, breath and mind. She works with her students to understand their body, spinal movement, alignment, and breathing to balance and build strength and flexibility. She is hands on with students on postural corrections and asana adjustments. Edith is passionate to share her knowledge to help others experience the extraordinary physical and mental benefits that yoga has provided her.

In 2010, Edith completed 200 hours Hatha Yoga teaching training. In 2012, she completed 300 hours of Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at The International Yoga Academy (IYA) with Master Yogananth Andiappan as her main teacher. In 2013, she further completed100 hours of Intensive Intermediate to Advanced Hatha Yoga teacher training at the Asana Andiappan college of Yoga and Research Centre in Chennai, India. In 2019, she completed 100 hours of Pranayama and Meditation teacher training at International Yoga Academy (IYA). Edith is a versatile teacher in various styles and levels of yoga.
